Plethora of Video Games

Mon Sep 22, 2008, 7:05 PM
Ok, so anyone keeping up with the current video game market will know that there is a very sudden boom of video games! i'm overwhelmed! so many good games, while i'm used to having to wait months for a single game that i actually want to play to come out. Also, i'm very seriously looking into buying a PSP 3000, mostly because i have always wanted to play Crisis Core, and also a kingdom hearts game is coming out for it that i want extremely, Birth By Sleep. So Yeah. A few more games:

Rise of Argonauts PS3
Sonic Chronicles DS
Eternal Sonata PS3
Rune Factory 2 DS
LittleBigPlanet PS3
FF CC: The Crystal Bearers Wii
Valkyria Chronicles PS3
White Knight Story PS3
FF 13 and FF Versus 13 PS3
FF Agito 13 PSP
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility Wii
Star Ocean: First and Second PSP
Dissidia: Final Fantasy PSP
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days DS
Rune Factory Frontier Wii
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen DS
Pokemon Platinum DS
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Wii
not to mention GH: World Tour and Rock Band 2 as well as a bunch of PSP games that i've missed out on by being late on the franchise.

Some of these games have come out already, some i'm still waiting for, but these are just the games of the top of my head. At the moment i'm playing GTA 4 and Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, which are both fantastic PS3 games. Anyway so as you can see, video games are my obsession at the moment, and GameSpot is my bible for all that is wonderful. lol, j/k.

Also in the news, Brisingr, if you've not picked up the 3rd book in the Inheritance Series is FREAKING AWESOME!!! Its by far the best, and i'm only 1/5 through it! It is just... boss! Its an awesome book, and anyone who hasn't read the series should, just for the chance to read this book. Major props to C.P! as well as my favorite narrator Gerad Doyle! You make these books come alive, man!

Also, the house season started off with a sad note, but i can't wait for new eps to come out.

Also, if you read manga, look at Fairy Tail. Its a really great shounen thats not the normal shounen series like Naruto or Bleach.

Some major awesome indie bands that i finally listened to the other day and realized i had been missing out EXTREMELY:
The Decembrists
Iron and Wine
Sigur Ros
The Dismemberment Plan
Kings of Convention
The Album Leaf
if you are interested i can give you a 50+ list of very good indie bands that are just BAMF.

Ok so thats it on my update. Until next time :D

  • Listening to: Time Bomb- The Dismemberment Plan
  • Reading: Brisingr
